GREAT SUCCESS FOR CREMONA MUSICA, FINALLY IN PRESENCE, AFTER THE SPECIAL EDITION OF LAST YEAR

After three intense days of music, meetings, exhibitions and business, Cremona Musica 2021 closes with a more than positive balance. After the unprecedented format of the Special Edition 2020, Cremona Musica has returned this year to the Cremona Exhibition Center, and has brought back thousands of enthusiasts, professionals, musicians, luthiers and international buyers, returning to be a unique meeting opportunity for whoever loves and lives music.

The numbers speak for themselves: 215 exhibitors, more than 300 artists and experts to give life to 130 events. An edition that has also welcomed some of the formats successfully tested during the Special Edition 2020, such as the events in the city center, including Cremona Musica Downtown and the Pianolink International Amateur Competition, and the appreciated Cremona Musica Speed ​​Dates, 30 minutes available to luthiers to let their instruments be heard in live streaming even to an audience of customers not at the fair, with professional musicians selected by the luthiers themselves.

The unique show of thousands of highly-crafted musical instruments from the best Cremonese, Italian and international manufacturers, to be admired and tested, is back. And also many important events are back, such as the many string concerts, dozens of piano events organized by the biggest brands in the sector, in the context of the Piano Festivals, the live music from the stages of the Acoustic Guitar Village, the special events for “Mandolini in mostra“, over 30 accordion-related events, 11 presentations and round tables in the Media Lounge, which as usual hosted numerous journalists from the specialized press from all over the world.

And then the Cremona Musica Awards, which brought to Cremona legends of music and dissemination such as Enrico Pieranunzi, Roby Lakatos, Maria Susana Azzi, Luciano Del Rio, and Richard Danielpour, who precisely during the fair presented a preview of two preludes from “The Grand Hotel Tartarus “, performed by the pianist Stefano Greco.
